Standing Yoga: Weekend Workout! 3-18-17

This week we will focus on standing yoga poses and how to get into them from a standing position. We will be using Ujjayi breathing to move from pose to pose. Some of the postures we will be doing include Tadasana, Crescent lunge, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Side angle, and Triangle pose.

Frequently in yoga, there is movement from sitting to standing and, for some people, that is very difficult to accomplish. This workout is designed so that we move through our poses from a standing position or crouched with finger tips on the floor or on blocks.
