As many of you already know, I broke my neck at the end of June. This is why there haven’t been any new Weekend Workouts for a while. (Naturally, you’re always welcome to use any of the previously released workouts.) Although I have not been practicing Pilates or yoga, my doctor recommended that I walk.
You may already know that you should stretch after walking. However, with a strict “no Pilates, no yoga” order, I wasn’t really sure what to do. So many stretches are based on yoga poses or used in Pilates. Certainly, I thought, there’s something that I can do.
I decided to try The Orb. When I was researching myofascial release tools, I stumbled across The Orb. As a tool, it’s the most likely to help with myofascial release, so I decided it might be my best bet for an assisted stretch.
Personally, I have found that rolling on The Orb everyday greatly improves how my lower body feels. One day, I’ll be released from my cervical collar, and I’ll get to use The Orb on my upper body. Until then, I plan on enjoying my lower body rolling.
If you are interested in getting an Orb, you can order through this link from Amazon. When you order through this link, I earn a small commission with no additional charge to you.
The Orb: Lower Body Video
Honestly, I feel like The Orb helps open my tight muscles and joints even better (and faster) than my usual stretches. I hope that it helps you, too!
